Who is E.C.M?

E. C. Marceau is the Notname assigned to the unidentified author of the Oak Box Codex, a manuscript bearing only the cryptic signature “E. C. M.”

Little can be gleaned about the identity of E. C. M. from the codex, other than the author’s intimate knowledge of the events described therein, which allows one to presume at least a close connection between the author and the principle protagonists.
